How it works
Peel and stick an NFC tag or print a QR code. Attach it to any asset — fire equipment, plant, fixtures, vehicles, anything you need to track.
A single tap or scan from any smartphone opens the asset record. The first scan registers the object. Every subsequent scan logs a new event.
Service events, defect reports, inspections, and compliance sign-offs are written permanently to the asset register. Nothing is deleted or overwritten.
The immutable register
Blockchain made the idea of an unchangeable record famous — once a transaction is written, it cannot be altered without the whole network knowing. uScan applies the same principle to physical assets, without the complexity.
Every event written to the register — a service, an inspection, a defect — is sealed. There is no “edit” or “delete.” Corrections are made by writing a new event that supersedes the old one, preserving the full history.
This matters when an insurer asks who serviced the suppression system in 2023, or when a regulator needs to verify the fire equipment was inspected on time. The answer is there, complete, and no-one can claim it was changed.
Records cannot be edited
